Refund policy

Effective Date: [October 11, 2023]

  1. Return Policy: We offer a 14-day return policy, allowing you 14 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return. Returns are accepted for misprinted, damaged, or defective items only. Claims for packages lost in transit must be submitted within 14 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense. Please note that we do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse.

  2. Lost Packages: If a package is marked as delivered but the customer has not received it, Rest & Abide Store will not cover the cost of reshipping or refunding the order. It is the customer's responsibility to file a lost package claim with the chosen carrier. Most carriers will assist in locating the parcel or, upon the customer's request, reimburse for the lost parcel. Ensure you provide the carrier with the merchant's receipt.

  3. Delivery Instructions: Customers are strongly advised to leave specific delivery instructions on the carrier's website (e.g., leave in the mailbox, leave on the front porch, etc.) once tracking information has been released.

  4. Responsibility Upon Handover: Upon handover to the carrier, the responsibility for the order, including its safe and timely delivery, transfers from Rest & Abide Store to the designated carrier. Any issues, damages, losses, or delays during the shipping process are the sole responsibility of the carrier.

  5. Initiating a Return: To start a return for misprinted, damaged, or defective items, contact us at [hi@restabide.com]. If your return is accepted, we'll provide a return shipping label and instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

  6. Cost of Returns:

a. Unless the return is due to a fault on the part of Rest & Abide Store, the cost of returns is the responsibility of the customer.

b. Customers are advised to choose a return shipping method with tracking for the safe and timely arrival of returned items.

  1. Return Process:

a. Prior to returning an item, contact Rest & Abide Store at [hi@restabide.com] to initiate the return process.

b. Once the return is approved, detailed instructions on where to send the item will be provided.

  1. Tracking Information:

a. It is highly recommended to use a shipping method with tracking when returning items to Rest & Abide Store.

b. Customers must submit the tracking information and corresponding order details to [hi@restabide.com] once the return has been sent.

  1. Refund or Exchange: Upon receiving the returned item and verifying its condition, Rest & Abide Store will process the refund or exchange following standard policies.

  2. Exceptions:

a. Returns that do not meet the specified conditions outlined in Section 1 will not be accepted.

b. If a return is at the fault of Rest & Abide Store (e.g., incorrect item shipped, defective product), the Store will cover the cost of the return.

  2. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items: Certain items such as perishable goods, custom products (such as our 'Adored N Grace' items), and personal care goods cannot be returned. Please contact us with any questions about specific items. We do not accept returns for sale items or gift cards.

  3. Exchanges: The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

  4. Refunds: We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Contact us at [hi@restabide.com] if more than 15 business days have passed since the return approval.
